Bournemouth Frustrated by Tottenham Over Dominic Solanke Transfer

Bournemouth is set to receive a club-record fee for Dominic Solanke following his move to Tottenham Hotspur. However, the club is reportedly frustrated by the timing of the transfer.

Bournemouth’s Discontent with the Timing

Bournemouth will secure a substantial profit from the sale of Solanke, a record for the club. The striker, who joined Bournemouth from Liverpool in January 2019, has netted 77 goals in 216 appearances, including an impressive 19 goals in the Premier League last season.

Solanke, approaching his 27th birthday, had expressed interest in pursuing bigger opportunities, leading to his attraction from Premier League clubs. Despite this, Bournemouth is unhappy that Tottenham made their move so close to the start of the new season. This timing has left Bournemouth frustrated, as they were beginning to feel hopeful about keeping their star player.

With the new season fast approaching, Bournemouth may struggle to find a suitable replacement for Solanke in time, potentially disrupting their plans for the upcoming campaign.
