Novak Djokovic’s striking image from Wimbledon’s Centre Court has been named the IMAGO Photograph of the Year, with the legendary Serb applauding the recognition.

On Thursday, April 3, IMAGO announced via Instagram that Chloe Knott’s powerful photo of Djokovic had claimed the top prize at the UK Picture Editors’ Guild Awards 2024.
The now-award-winning image features Djokovic walking on Wimbledon’s Centre Court, head slightly bowed, bathed in a golden beam of sunlight—a moment symbolizing grace, legacy, and solitude.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion was dressed in his traditional all-white Wimbledon attire, holding his racket in one hand.
“IMAGO is happy to announce that Chloe Knott has won the IMAGO Photograph of the Year,” the post read.
“The image was selected by the public through a voting system where Knott’s photo won by a comfortable margin.”
Djokovic Shares Heartwarming Moment with Photographer in Miami
At the Miami Open, Djokovic also created another emotional memory—but this time off the court. After defeating Rinky Hijikata 6-0, 7-6 in his campaign opener, Djokovic was interviewed by Tennis Channel and shared a sweet moment with their photographer, Matt Fitzgerald.

Fitzgerald brought Djokovic a special gift—photos from his Olympic gold medal win in Paris.
“Wow,” Djokovic said as he looked at the pictures. “I love it. You know what we’re going to do? I want you to sign this, because this is your work of art.”
The duo then posed for photos, with Djokovic showing off Fitzgerald’s autograph on the Olympic snapshot, while Fitzgerald proudly held a signed match ticket from Djokovic.
Djokovic’s Miami Run Ends in Final Loss to Jakub Mensik
Despite an inconsistent start to 2025 after reaching the Australian Open semifinal, Djokovic looked strong in Miami. The fourth seed stormed past Camilo Ugo Carabelli, Lorenzo Musetti, Sebastian Korda, and Grigor Dimitrov—all in straight sets.
In his first final since his Paris Olympics gold, Djokovic faced rising 19-year-old Jakub Mensik, who clinched the title with a 7-6(4), 7-6(4) victory.

Currently fourth in the ATP Race to Turin with 1510 points, Djokovic now turns his attention to the clay season, aiming to regain dominance in the lead-up to Roland Garros.
