In an interview with Vijesti, Djokovic shared an update on his condition after withdrawing from the Australian Open semifinal:

“The tear in the muscle is gone, the injury is almost 100 percent repaired, and I am ready for new victories. I have the green light from the medical team to train and prepare. The Doha tournament is scheduled for seven days from now, so I’m sticking to the plan. Thank God, I was able to recover quickly.”

He acknowledged experiencing more injuries recently but remains motivated:

“I’ve had a few more injuries lately compared to the first 15 years of my career. It probably comes with age, but my body still listens to me. I still have a burning desire to achieve new things. That’s why I’m hopeful for success in Doha and throughout the season.”

Chasing His 100th Career Title

Doha presents another chance for Djokovic to reach a career milestone—his 100th ATP title.

“I hope the 100th trophy can come in Doha. I’ve been chasing it since October last year, but we’ll see. It will come when it’s meant to. Thank God, I know it will come—we just have to see when and where.”

Djokovic remains focused on winning more Grand Slam titles, proving he can still compete at the highest level:
