Jannik Sinner’s Girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya Reportedly Unfollows Him Days After Controversial Remarks

Jannik Sinner’s girlfriend, Anna Kalinskaya, has reportedly unfollowed him on Instagram following recent remarks he made about their relationship. The Italian tennis star had commented on what it means to have a girlfriend, which sparked some backlash.

A Look at Their Relationship

Sinner and Kalinskaya became a couple earlier this year, frequently showing support for each other during matches. Notably, Kalinskaya was seen cheering Sinner on from his player box during his victorious US Open run in September.

The Controversial Interview

In a recent interview with Esquire UK, Sinner, now World No. 1, was asked what Kalinskaya added to his life. He replied:

“I don’t think anything has changed. Having a girlfriend is something that either makes you feel good or makes you feel bad. I want it to be something that feels very natural, which comes into my life normally. I can’t afford to change as a player or as a person. That hasn’t happened, that’s why it works.”

These remarks drew criticism from fans, who felt they downplayed his relationship’s significance.

Kalinskaya’s Social Media Action

In response to this, it’s reported that Kalinskaya has unfollowed Sinner on Instagram, sparking further speculation on the state of their relationship.
