Postecoglou makes Heung-min Son admission ahead of Spurs vs Ipswich

Son has rarely been injured over his nine and a half years at Tottenham, but he has already suffered two niggling problems at the start of this campaign, with the forward having issues with his hamstring and his thigh.

With the four aforementioned wide players still missing, Postecoglou has no choice but to once again start with Son and Brennan Johnson against Ipswich.

However, the Tottenham head coach hinted that he will continue to manage the South Korean’s minutes carefully.

Postecoglou said about Son “For Sonny, he obviously had the injury and we brought him back and he had a relapse. We don’t want to put him in that position.

We’re building him up, managing his minutes, hopefully, we can build that up. We can’t afford more injuries in that position. We got Wilson, Richy, Mikey, we can’t afford to lose another player
