Tottenham Player Ratings vs Arsenal: Cristian Romero Lets Himself Down for Derby Winner

Tottenham fell to a frustrating 1-0 defeat against Arsenal in the North London derby, with Gabriel’s second-half goal being the difference. Cristian Romero’s crucial error at a set piece handed Arsenal the win, extending their dominance over their rivals.

First Half: Promising but Lacking Finishing

Manager Ange Postecoglou’s side showed promise in the first half, with Dejan Kulusevski testing Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya twice. However, they struggled to create meaningful chances after the break.

Their familiar weakness at set-pieces was once again exposed, as Gabriel headed home a Bukayo Saka corner to secure a third consecutive win for Arsenal at Tottenham’s home ground.
