Sky Journalist Reveals Insider Info on Eberechi Eze’s Potential Tottenham Move

Eberechi Eze to Tottenham has been one of the persistent transfer rumors of the summer, with the Crystal Palace star frequently linked to a move to North London. However, despite the speculation, no deal has materialized.

Eberechi Eze to Tottenham Played Down

Michael Bridge, speaking on the “Last Word on Spurs” podcast, discussed the ongoing rumors connecting Eze to Tottenham. According to the journalist, the links are consistently being denied by those involved.

Bridge shared the inside information he’s received about Eze and Spurs:

“I know the Eze one keeps coming up, and that’s the one player I’ve heard about all summer. It was a no throughout the summer when I’ve asked every time—no, no, no, no,” Bridge said. “They do like him, but you can’t have everyone you like. I spoke to someone at Palace, and they said to me they wouldn’t dream of selling Olise, Guehi, and Eze in one window. Guehi could still go, they have sold Andersen to Fulham for £30m. I don’t think it will happen this window.”

Crystal Palace Must Hold Onto Eberechi Eze

With just a few days left in the transfer window, these final days are crucial for Crystal Palace. The club has already had a challenging window, losing key players like Michael Olise and Joachim Andersen, with Marc Guehi also potentially on his way to Newcastle.

Eberechi Eze is now one of the last key assets at Selhurst Park. Given the slow start to their season, Palace can hardly afford to part with the England international at this point.

While Tottenham clearly admires Eze and could pursue him in the future, it appears unlikely that the former QPR star will make the switch this window. For now, Eze must remain at Crystal Palace, though he undoubtedly has the talent to join a top club someday.
