Tottenham Hotspur captain Heung-min Son has shared a message to Harry Kane that Spurs fans will love to hear.

It has been 12 months since Harry Kane left Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to join Bayern Munich. Despite Ange Postecoglou’s efforts to distribute the goal-scoring responsibility across the team, Tottenham has struggled to replace the goals left behind by the England captain.

Heung-min Son took on the lion’s share of the scoring, netting 17 times in the league alone last season. Now, he has issued a message to England’s captain ahead of the Euro 2024 final on Sunday.

A huge game is on the horizon for England, as they face their second consecutive European Championship final, this time against Spain. Notably, neither team has any Spurs representatives.

James Maddison was a notable omission from the England squad after being initially included for the friendlies leading up to the tournament. Similarly, Pedro Porro’s omission from the Spain squad raised eyebrows among those who watched the right-back last season.

Speaking on Friday to the Tottenham social media team, Son expressed his support for England and his former teammate.

“I wish England to win [the Euros final],” Son said. “Because [I want] Harry to win it, the best England player in history.”
